Here we go again—maybe if we stopped meddling in other countries' affairs, we wouldn’t have to keep playing global police and making things worse.

Funny how the US suddenly cares about crime in Venezuela when it benefits their own interests, but never lifts a finger to help ordinary Venezuelans suffering under both corrupt elites and punishing sanctions.

Sanctioning these cartels is a step in the right direction, but let's not forget that US foreign policy should focus just as much on supporting democracy and addressing the root causes of instability in Venezuela, not just punishing bad actors.

Glad to see the US taking action against organized crime, but I hope this doesn’t just escalate tensions or hurt ordinary Venezuelans even more.

Yet another example of how socialist regimes like Maduro’s end up fostering corruption and crime at the highest levels—communism always breeds this kind of lawlessness. Good on the US for finally cracking down, but it’s a shame these cartels were allowed to get so powerful in the first place.

Honestly, this is just more proof that the US government loves to play world police and meddle in other countries’ affairs instead of minding its own business. Sanctions like these usually end up hurting regular people way more than the actual bad guys at the top. Maybe if we stopped intervening everywhere and focused on protecting our own freedoms, we’d actually get somewhere.
