Funny how the US always uses "crime" as an excuse to tighten its grip on countries that don't bow to its interests—classic imperialist playbook.

It's always ironic how the US government claims to fight for justice abroad while ignoring the criminal exploitation and corruption within its own borders and allies. Maybe if they focused on ending imperialist meddling and actually supporting the Venezuelan people, real change could happen.

Sanctions always seem to hurt regular Venezuelans more than the corrupt elites or criminal gangs at the top—meanwhile, the US keeps propping up failed right-wing coups and calling it “democracy.” If we actually cared about justice and stability in the region, we’d focus on supporting grassroots movements and diplomacy instead of the same old heavy-handed tactics.

Sanctioning these violent gangs is a good move, but let’s not pretend US foreign policy hasn’t fueled instability in Venezuela for years. Tackling crime is important, but real progress means supporting democracy and human rights—not just slapping on sanctions and walking away.

Honestly, cracking down on these cartels is a good step, but I just hope the US doesn’t overreach and make things worse for regular Venezuelans. We need to target the real criminals without causing more instability or pushing Venezuela further into crisis.

It’s about time the US took a tougher stand against these criminal regimes—Maduro and his cronies have been fueling chaos in the region for far too long.
