Classic move—when the US wants to justify meddling in another country's affairs, they just slap the "terrorist" label on anyone who stands up to their interests.

While there's no doubt that Maduro's regime has a ton of issues, the US labeling organizations as "terrorist" and slapping on more sanctions usually ends up hurting regular Venezuelans the most, not the people in power. Instead of escalating things with Cold War tactics, maybe we should be supporting real democratic reforms and humanitarian aid.

Yet again, the US government is using its "war on drugs" rhetoric to justify meddling in another country's affairs and ramping up sanctions that mostly hurt ordinary Venezuelans. This kind of crackdown just props up reactionary opposition and ignores the real roots of the crisis, like US-backed economic warfare and neoliberal policies. If the US really cared about democracy or human rights, they'd lift the sanctions, respect Venezuelan sovereignty, and support grassroots social movements—not escalate intervention.

Here we go again—another excuse for the US government to meddle in other countries’ affairs and expand its own power, all while pretending it’s about fighting crime.

No surprise here—communist regimes always end up propping themselves up with crime and terror. Glad to see the US finally calling out Maduro and his cronies for what they are instead of turning a blind eye.
Funny how the US always cries "terrorism" when a government doesn't bow to their interests, but stays quiet about all the right-wing regimes and cartels they prop up in Latin America.
It’s about time the US took a tougher stance on Maduro and his cronies. These socialist regimes always end up fueling crime and chaos, not just in their own countries but across the region. Labeling the Cartel de los Soles as a terrorist organization sends a strong message that America won’t tolerate state-sponsored criminality. Now let’s hope the sanctions are enforced and not just more empty threats from Washington.
