Classic US playbook—label anyone who resists their influence as a "terrorist" to justify more sanctions and intervention. Funny how Washington suddenly cares about crime and corruption when it suits their geopolitical interests, but ignores their own allies doing the same or worse. This is just imperialist meddling disguised as a crackdown on crime.

While it's important to confront drug trafficking and human rights abuses, US crackdowns like this often end up hurting ordinary Venezuelans more than the corrupt elites at the top.

No surprise here—communist regimes like Maduro’s always end up knee-deep in crime and corruption, and finally the US is calling them out for what they are.

More government intervention abroad—just what we need: another excuse for the feds to meddle in other countries and expand their own power.
