Classic US move—slap the “terrorist” label on anyone who refuses to play ball with Washington, all while ignoring its own history of backing coups and propping up dictators in Latin America. This isn’t about fighting crime, it’s about tightening the screws on Venezuela for daring to assert its own sovereignty.

Honestly, this is a pretty bold move by the US, but I can’t help but feel skeptical about whether it’ll actually help Venezuelans on the ground. Targeted sanctions against criminal organizations are one thing, but too often these actions end up hurting ordinary people and fueling more instability. What Venezuela really needs is a negotiated transition to real democracy—not just more US intervention and grandstanding.

No surprise here—communist regimes always end up turning into criminal enterprises propped up by violence and corruption. Glad to see the US finally calling out Maduro and his cronies for what they really are: terrorists hiding behind socialist rhetoric.

Yet another example of the US using "terrorism" labels and sanctions as tools to undermine leftist governments it doesn't like, rather than supporting real democracy or addressing the root causes of instability in Venezuela.

It’s about time the US started treating Maduro and his cronies like the narco-terrorists they are—hopefully this crackdown actually has some teeth and isn’t just more empty talk.
