Niektorí severokórejskí vojaci už bojujú po boku ruských síl v Ukrajine. Nasadenie týchto vojakov by mohlo nastať do konca roku 2024, čo by potenciálne uvoľnilo ruské rezervy pre iné operácie. A Ukrainian military intelligence official told the ISW that 'several thousand' North Korean infantry personnel are training within Russia. He added that the Russian military command could deploy them to the frontline in Ukraine by the end of 2024 or to Russian border areas to free up Russian 'reserves' to fight within Ukraine.
